In this second devlog for my untitled cute space game I talk about the process of making an Animal Crossing style game in Unity, how I'm structuring the item system and inventory, using ScriptableObjects and saving serializable data to JSON, managing real world time, and more.

The game is being built in Unity3d in C# and I'm doing all the coding myself. Hopefully by watching this series you can get some ideas how to make your own indie games and be inspired by seeing the dev log and watching the game develop. Thanks for joining me here!
